A NEXUS RETROSPECTIVE AT ICA
emily howells and i directed and animated the intro to the nexus retrospective that screened as
a part of the london short film festival at the ICA on 12 january 2010. click here to watch.
this was the second time that emily and i have collaborated on a project . emily created titles
for my film THE DREAM MAKER which screened at the rushes soho shorts festival last year.

i have just cut carolina melis and lorenzo spotiello's new music video for sound artist vladislav delay.
the video is a journey into a spectacular miniature landscape, with crystals forming and transforming

i am now the resident vj for new heavy sounds, a brand new celebration night of all that's riff-heavy.

MYSTERY ROLLS
my freiend mo and i recieved 5 mystery rolls of 16mm off freecycle.com yesterday and decided to
do a home job telecine with a wall projection while filming with his canon 5d. some of the footage is
amazing stuff. my favourite was the coca-cola delivey man footage. we thought it was funny how the
person who shot this some years ago would have absolutely no idea that a couple of film heads would
some day find his rolls, telecine them, grade them and put them on a website. click here to watch.

PLACEBO
i have recently cut the latest placebo video 'the never-ending why' for interactive directors
'champagne valentine'. this multi-sensory experience takes the viewer through a gothic landscape
full of shadows, monsters and psychedelic splashes of colour. produced by nexus productions.

THE DREAM MAKER
in a world where dreams are mass manufactured and sold in the form of an audio tape,
the consumer aurally taps into the pre-recorded lucid experience as a form of entertainment
or pleasure. this short film follows an elite dream maker through the programming of a dream.
delving deep into his psyche we are revealed a chilling vision of the world in which he is a
part of. shot entirely on one roll of super 8 for straight 8 2009. click here to enter the dream maker

THE BIG CHILL FESTIVAL
this viral was shot entirely on black & white super 8 and is a complete time lapse of an afternoon
at the previous big chill festival. the old classic film has been spiced up with subtle pieces of animation
including a humble little dragonfly taking you through the journey. coming soon i promise.
